Romanzo Law PLLC helps businesses and entrepreneurs achieve their potential. The Firm offers full service commercial legal services from commercial lease reviews, corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, general contract review to dispute resolution.
The Firm is led by Brian Romanzo who has a rare combination of deep and broad experience in both complex corporate transactions and litigation. While the Firm offers traditional hourly rates, the Firm also offers a flat rate or "concierge" concept to legal services. This concept is catered toward companies that may not have full time in-house legal counsel but need frequent access to an attorney without worrying about the billable hour.
After years of serving as in-house legal counsel, Brian was inspired to start the Firm because he identified a growing need in the legal industry to provide a high quality "Big Firm" work product at cost-effective rates.
ABOUT BRIAN
BRIAN ROMANZO
MANAGING MEMBER
Brian started his legal career in the New York City office of one of the world's largest and most prestigious law firms. He is humbled to have learned the practice of law from some of the leading legal minds and Brian carries the lessons learned from that experience with him today.
After leaving "Big Law" Brian then spent over ten years serving in a variety of senior in-house legal counsel roles. Previously, Brian served as the Vice President and General Counsel of SnapAV, a Hellman and Friedman portfolio company. While at SnapAV, Brian led the company's M&A activity through several major transactions, including SnapAV's $680M take-private transaction of Control4. Prior to Brian's tenure at SnapAV, Brian served as the General Counsel of Meineke Car Care Centers and Vice President, Deputy General Counsel of Meineke's parent company, Driven Brands. While at Driven Brands, Brian handled a wide variety of franchising and corporate matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions to managing the litigation docket of the company to personally litigating cases on behalf of the various Driven Brands portfolio companies.
In addition to serving as Managing Member of Romanzo Law PLLC, Brian proudly serves as the General Counsel of Rep'm Group, a leading franchise development firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Brian is a former collegiate and international rower having earned several national championship medals for Princeton University. Brian was also a participant in the prestigious Oxford-Cambridge University Boat Race. Brian's experience in being surrounded by Olympic level athletes in the quintessential team sport has influenced his approach to providing legal services. He treats his clients as teammates in achieving a common goal with collaborative focus and determination.
Most importantly, Brian is a proud husband and father to two children and he and his family reside in Charlotte, North Carolina.
